6) Avocado

Avocados are extremely low in sugar, contain good fats & fiber that support balanced blood sugar levels, and are a natural supply of magnesium, a mineral that increases insulin sensitivity. 

In fact, according to the findings of a clinical investigation, replacing some complex carbohydrates with monounsaturated fatty acids, such as avocados, helps maintain proper glycemic control.
